Gunmen have abducted the chairman of Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. Aduge Okorodudu.
Mr. Okorodudu was reportedly kidnapped by arms-wielding hoodlums along Mbiaku Link Road in the Warri GRA.
The incident, NIGER DELTA TODAY (NDT) Online, learnt happened few minutes before 7pm on Saturday.
The driver of the victim was reportedly shot before the gunmen forcefully whisked the Warri North Council boss to unknown destination.

The driver, sources told our correspondent, is alive but sustained critical gunshot injuries.
They were two in the vehicle when the hoodlums struck.
“They were attacked along Mbiaku Link Road in Warri GRA. They were just two in the vehicle when the gunmen waylaid them. The driver was shot. They were returning from a function when the incident took place”, one of the sources confided in our correspondent.
