Gov Oborevwori Finally Appoints Commissioners For Justice, Information, Another

Eight months after his swearing in, Delta State governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has forwarded the names of Commissioners-designate for Justice, Information and Chieftaincy Affairs to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.

The governor forwarded the names to the Speaker of the State of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, on Tuesday.

Governor Oborevwori appointed Mr. Ekemejero Ohwovoriole, SAN, as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.

Ekemejero of the popular legal Ohwovoriole family of Olomu Kingdom hails from Ughelli South Local Government.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria was among the lawyers that successfully prosecute the legal suits challenging the election of Governor Oborevwori.

The governor also appointed the Publicity Secretary of the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, as commissioner for information designate.

Oborevwori further nominate Kanemala Penewou as commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
