Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel has appointed Ephraim Inyang-eyen as his Chief of Staff.
Ephraim Inyang-eyen who hails from the Governor’s Onna Local government area of Akwa Ibom State was until his new appointment the commissioner of Works.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Charles Udoh who briefed the press on Friday after the State Executive meeting, said Inyang-eyen’s appointment takes immediate effect.

He said, however, that he would still supervise the Ministry of Works until a suitable replacement is appointed.
Ephraim Inyang was the President of the Transformation Initiative for the Emancipation of Ibom People, who in 2015 worked tirelessly for the election of Governor Emmanuel as governor of the state
