Former Delta Lawmaker, Eme Mukoro, Is Dead


 

A former member of the Delta State House of Assembly and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Eme Mukoro, is dead.

Engr. Mukoro, who is also a traditional palace chief of Ughievwen Kingdom, was said to have passed on late Tuesday evening in Lagos State.

He was said to have passed on after a brief illness.

Olorogun Mukoro hailed from Otughievwen, the traditional headquarters of Ughievwen Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta.

The deceased was elected member of the State House of Assembly on the platform of the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP) for Ughelli South State constituency in 2011.

He was a Managing Director of one of the companies owned by late renowned businessman, Olorogun Michael Ibru.

The late former lawmaker was also a senior legislative aide to the former Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

Olorogun Mukoro was married to Chief (Mrs) Obukome Elaine Ibru-Mukoro, one of the daughters of Olorogun Michael Ibru.
