Efe Afe Splash N16.5m Grant On Women, Artisans From Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie   

Afe presenting the cash grants to beneficiaries from Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie constituency

The member representing Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Chief Efe Afe, with the support of the Federal Government has empowered 550 women and artisans in his constituency.

The beneficiaries drawn from Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie LGAs received N30,000 and above each to support their businesses and crafts to ameliorate their economic hardship.

Speaking during the event Hon. Afe charged the beneficiaries to make good use of the money by investing it into their businesses.

The lawmaker commended the Federal Government through the Small and  Medium Enterprises Development Agency in collaboration with Microvis Micro Finance Bank for providing the grant for Artisans and women  in his constituency.

Afe advised the beneficiaries not to use the grant given to them for other purpose but to invest it in their businesses

The federal lawmaker urged those who did not benefit to wait as there are many more empowerment programmes ahead.

The Member Representing Okpe Sapele and Uvwie Federal Constituency also appealed to the beneficiaries to continue to support him and the PDP in order for them to enjoy more  benefits.

Presenting the Grants to the beneficiaries the State Chairman of PDP, Olorogun Kingsley Esiso, commended Afe for attracting the grants to his constituency.

Olorogun Esiso enjoined the various chairmen to ensure that such empowerment goes round everyone at any given time.

He urged all members of the constituency to ensure they register with INEC as it is the only tool to vote.

The Senior Legislative Aide to the member Representing Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie Federal Constituency, Chief Isaac Itebu, also thanked and commended Afe for the gesture and assured him that the items would be judiciously used by the beneficiaries.
