FG Approves Registration Of Motorcycle Union As TUC Lauds MOUN Leadership

National President, Motorcycles Operators Union of Nigeria (MOUN), Comrade Julius Oghenevwegba Bobi, has commended the federal government for registering the body and pledged selfless service and positive collaboration with the Labour movement.

He spoke after receiving the registration certificate as well as at a meeting with the Chief of Staff to the National President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Chris Onyeka (middle) and others at Labour House, Abuja.

He stated: “It’s with great joy that we received our labour union certificate from the Registrar of Trade Union, Mr. Amos Falonipe, on Monday 11th September, 2023.

“It has given us the opportunity to carry out our operations in the way and manner regulated by law, as we have the full backing to exist as an entity without harassment and molestation by anybody.

” We are by this poised to achieve our mission and vision statements as our core values and what we stand for.”

The Trade Union Congress (TUC), in a congratulatory message signed by its Secretary General, Comrade Nuhu Toro, to MOUN and addressed to Bobi, said the registration showed the efforts put in as well as the dedication, commitment, strength and unity of its members and officials.

On behalf of the TUC’s President, Engineer Festus Osifo, and National Administrative Council (NAC), Toro pledged the central Labour organisation’s support for MOUN.
TUC tasked Bobi and other MOUN officials to serve its members with integrity and courage.
