Several disappointed guests, already seated are left sighing and cursing at Omagwa, Ikwerre Local Government, Rivers state, where workers are still carry on with work on uncompleted Housing project for Police Special Protection Unit (SPU) which Vice President Yemi Osibanjo is expected to commission today (Tuesday).

The project is an initiative of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The project has been stagnated for years before now when the commission under Sole Administration of Effion Akwa is desperate to inaugurate it even with significant work is left incomplete, including interior deficiencies.

A disappointed stakeholder told NIGER DETA TODAY (NDT), “Why is the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio so petty and desperate. This was same way he forced the President to commission an uncompleted NDDC headquarters.
