WARRI TODAY can exclusively reports that President Muhammadu Buhari will no longer personally visit Delta State for the town hall meeting slated to hold at PTI Conference Centre Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of the state.
Buhari’s vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo would represent Mr President at the meeting which will be attended by traditional rulers and leaders of APC in the state.
Our correspondent reliably learnt that while Osinbajo would be representing President Buhari in Delta, the President himself would be holding a similar meeting with APC leaders in Taraba State.
The Vice President had not landed the Osubi Airport in Okpe Local Government Area of the state at the time of filing this report.
Several leaders of the APC confirmed the development to this reporter when contacted on phone on Monday morning.
Our sources pleaded not are named in our report.
At the time of filing this report, several leaders of the APC including immediate past governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan; APC leader in the state, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, Delta APC governorship candidate, Chief Great Ogboru and host of others are currently at the Osubi Airport to received Vice President Osinbajo.
