Nigerian international singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has been invited for a meeting with the Inspector-General Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu , in Abuja on Monday.
Davido was among Nigerian artistes who joined the #EndSARS protest in Abuja on Sunday.
The protesters were reportedly teargassed and water sprayed on them by operatives while some of the protesters were equally arrested but were later released following the intervention of the popular singer.
The singer disclosed that he will be meeting with IGP in a post on his social media platforms including Twitter.

The meeting is slated for 10am on Monday.
Davido, however, called on other artistes to accompany him to the meeting.
He tweets, “am meeting with the inspector general of police tomorrow 10 am …. all my colleagues if u can get to Abuja 2moro before 10 am and follow me to the meeting! It would mean a lot Red heart.”
IGP Adamu on Sunday announced the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) following nationwide protest Nigerian youths, calling for the scrap of the unit for alleged brutality and harassment by operatives.
The IGP said the dissolution of the formation was with immediate effect.
