The remains of Okpako Eghweya (oldest woman) of Ekakpamre community in Ughievwen Kingdom of Ughelli South local Government Area of Delta State, Mrs Tagan Evwietigho, who died at 121 will be laid to rest tomorrow (Friday) May 21st.
Mrs. Evwietigho will be buried at her paternal home in Iwhrekreka community in Ughelli South Local Government Area.
A statement by Evangelist Toka Orhoesie and Evangelist Samson Tagan explained that mama corpse will leave Judos Mortuary in Ughelli for her husband’s compound in Ekakpamre at 8am for a brief stopover.
At 11am her body will depart her husband compound to Saint John African Church, Ekakpamre, for funeral service.
The statement added that her remains will leave St. John African Church Ekakpamre for her compound in Iwhrekreka Town for interment by 12noon.
Entertainment of guests follows immediately at Chief Harrison Jeffia’s compound at Iwhrekreka Junction while in-law greetings will take place on Saturday May 22nd.
Late mama’s outing thanksgiving service will hold on Sunday May 23, 2021 at St. John African Church, Ekakpamre.
