Rivers State governor and Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Campaign Committee in Edo State, Nyesom Wike, has boasted that the party’s candidate in the just concluded governorship election, Godwin Obaseki, is coasting home to victory.
Wike also said Niger Delta region is not a place where one man handpicked and decide for the entire region.
The Rivers governor stated this on Saturday on his official Twitter handle while reacting to the September 19 governorship election in Edo.
He stated, “We’re about to make history, we’re coasting to victory.
“Niger Delta isn’t a one man land, one man could decide in other regions, but in Niger Delta, the people decide. We have God, and the people. #EdoDecides2020 #EdoDecides.”
