The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, on Wednesday described the reappointment of Mr. Crusoe Osagie, as Special Adviser on Media Projects, by the State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki.
The Chapel also commended Obaseki for finding Crusoe worthy to manage the very critical department of the government.
This was contained in a congratulatory letter addressed to Osagie on Wednesday.
The letter which was signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Chapel, Mrs. Nefishetu Yakubu and Osaigbovo Iguobaro, respectively, said the appointment is no doubt a recognition of Crusoe Osagie’s accomplishments, describing it as “well-deserved”.
The letter reads in part: “You [Crusoe], have worked hard to reach this point. It is our hope that access to information and press freedom would be upheld at all times.
“We wish you well in the task ahead, and look forward to greater synergy and collaboration.”
The Edo Correspondents wished the media aide well in the task ahead.
