Edo Election: Tinubu Receives Monday Okpebholo, Oshiomhole, APC Govs In Aso Villa

President Bola Tinubu on Monday hosted the Edo State governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo and his deputy, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

 

Senator Okpebholo was led into the President’s office  by the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, and some APC governors on the platform of the party.

 

Also in the entourage were the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and governor of Imo, Hope Uzodimma; Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq (Kwara), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Usman Ododo (Kogi) and Dapo Abiodun (Ogun).

 

Also attending the meeting are the Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Adams Oshiomhole, and the Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu.

 

On Sunday the Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Okpebholo of the APC winner of last Saturday’s governorship election in Edo State.
