Prophet TB Joshua, founder of The Synagogue Church of All Nation, has warned soccer star, Lionel Messi against leaving Barcelona Football Club.
Messi, a multiple Ballon D’Or winner, is being reported to have turn transfer request to leave the club where he had won several laurels including prestigious Champions League.
The footballer had also failed to turn up for the pre-season training for the Catalans thereby fueling rumour that he was at the edge of leaving the club.
Barcelona recently suffered humiliating 8-2 defeat in the hands of German side, Bayern Munich, during the last UEFA Champions League clash where Mess I captained the La Liga champions.
However, in a surprising post on his official Instagram handle, Prophet TB Joshua, urged the Argentine to shelve plans to leave the Spanish side.
In the post on Wednesday, the cleric known for his prophetic declaration, specifically warned the soccer icon against departing Barca in a bitter note.
According to him, “It is not good advice for Lionel Messi to leave Barcelona bitter and offended. It is impossible to establish a healthy relationship with a person who left a previous relationship bitter and offended.
“This is my candid advice to Messi. History is our boss.”
A former Barcelona tactician and now coach of English giant, Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, is being rumoured to be interested in signing Messi.
