Delta SSG Turns 50 As Aniagwu Extols Ebie’s Contributions To Okowa’s Govt

The Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, has described the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Chiedu Ebie, who turned 50 years on Saturday, as an accomplished professional and team player. 

Aniagwu hailed Ebie especially for his contributions to the realisation of the Governor Ifeanyi Okowa-led administration’s ‘Smart and Stronger Delta’ mantra. 

Ebie, a lawyer and former Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, clocked 50-year-old January 2nd. 

The commissioner in a statement on Saturday congratulated Ebie on his birthday, extolling him as an outstanding professional whose accomplishments in private and public service are worth emulating. 

Aniagwu also hailed the Delta SSG for his immense contribution to the growth and development of grassroot sports in the state. 

He noted that the Ika-born politician also gave face-lift to upgrade and renovation of schools while serving as the commissioner for basic and secondary education. 
 
According to him, “As a member of the State Executive Council, I can testify of your sound professionalism and work ethics in handling matters of state.  
 
“Your mastery of governance and coordination of the various ministries, departments, parastatals and agencies of governance is worthy of commendation.  
 
“As Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education from 2015-2019, you were exceptionally committed to the course of leading the ministry to achieve set goals which includes but not limited to the massive renovation and rehabilitation of schools and the revamping of grassroot sports through the Zenith Bank Delta Principal’s and Headmaster’s Cup.”

While celebrating with Ebie on the golden age, Aniagwu prayed God to continue to strengthen and bless the SSG with good health as he continues to serve the state and mankind.
