Delta South: I’ll Render Better Service Delivery to My Constituents – Dr Nanna

By Chancel Sunday

Delta South Senatorial District flagbearer of the United People’s Congress (UPC), Dr Akinremi Oritseweyinmi Nanna, has assured the people of his constituency that he would render better service delivery to them if elected on Saturday general elections.

Dr Nanna gave the assurance when addressing party faithful on Thursday, stressing that he would work hard to influence basic amenities necessary for human habitation to communities in the constituency, particularly in the creeks.

Nanna, who is a medical doctor explained that it was pathetic on the part of constituents to be deprived of basic amenities in a modern era like ours, promising that his representation would correct the anomaly.

He appealed to constituents to effect a change for electricity, potable water and a good healthcare system in the constituency by giving him their votes.

He also tasked constituents to vote for the personality and not for the party, emphasizing such was the only way to put a stop to the inhuman treatment.

He said, “UPC is one of the new generation parties that is filled with new ideas. We can move from where we are now to achieve a lot in the areas of education, cottage industries and good healthcare system.

“When I’m elected, I will move a motion for community-based ad-hoc committee on the floor where communities can come and address the upper House on their needs and challenges.

“I call on the people of Delta South to give me the chance to serve them because I will do my utmost to put smile on their faces”.
