Delta Records Seven New Cases Of COVID-19 In Sapele, Warri, Others

The Delta State Government has confirmed seven new cases of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

It brings to 46 the total number of confirmed cases the state has so far recorded as of Monday night.

According to the State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, said the cases were recorded in Sapele, Warri, Oshimili South and other local government areas of the state.

The government also confirmed that the state has recorded another death bringing to seven the total number of confirmed fatalities in the state.

Of the 46 cases, Delta has discharged 13 patients who had recovered from the virus while seven deaths have been recorded.

The figures released revealed that the state now has 26 active cases being treated at the various isolation centres across the state.
