*Another Male Corpse Found In Sapele

Two lifeless bodies one yet unidentified men are decomposing without intervention by relevant authorities in two separate locations in Delta State.

The deceased were found in the urban towns of Ughelli and Sapele in the state.

One of the deceased was found just before 2nd Amekpa Junction along the Ughelli Section of the East West Road almost opposite popular eatery, EJ.

WARRI TODAY learnt that the unknown man slumped on Friday evening while heading towards the Amekpa Junction.

The body of the victim, dressed in a red polo and a trouser was still lying on the ground at about 12noon on Saturday when this reporter visited the area.

The reporter observed that business owners around the area had all shut their stores for fear of arrest.

The unknown man was seen holding a black nylon bag.

It was further gathered that the deceased was still breathing at about 7pm when a team of police operatives visited the scene on Friday but left without taking the man to hospital.

Residents, according to sources, were afraid of going close to the scene for the fear of police.

WARRI TODAY observed that the corpse has started swelling.

At the time of filing this report, it was unclear if the corpse has been removed from the spot.

However, the body of the second man was found along the Awolowo Extension by New Road in Sapele.

It was unclear what also killed the man who was half nude.

The man was later identified as Mr Godwin Iwere. The deceased was said to be an indigene of Koko but resident in Sapele.
