Delta State Government has confirmed the death of another COVID-19 patient in the state.
This brings to three the number of fatalities so far recorded in the State.
The State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, confirmed the development on Wednesday in a post on his Facebook page.
Our correspondent gathered that the patient is the only case recorded from Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.
The state presently has 17 confirmed cases with two of the patients discharged after testing negative to the virus.
With three deaths, the state now has 12 active cases at the various isolation centres.
