“Normally she would go and return same day. The family started getting worried when she neither returned nor got in touch on phone. Since then, she has not been reachable. No contact, no whereabout.

We’ve been to Umeh a couple of times. It’s hard to find anyone give a clear information, but we’re told she was seen at the market. One account says she bought a sack of pepper, packed for her that she hadn’t paid.

“The seller had to open and resell to other customers when she didn’t return to come pay and collect it. We have notified the police and it’s all still too hazy. We appeal to anyone with useful information about her whereabout to contact the family or nearest police station.
