Delta Confirms Five New Cases Of COVID-19, Cases Now 22

Five new cases of the COVID-19 pandemic have been reported in Delta State bringing to 22 the total number of confirmed cases in the state.

The cases were recorded in Warri South and Oshimili North Local Government Areas of the state.

Four of the cases were recorded in Warri while one was recorded in the Asaba area of the state.

This is coming barely few hours after the state government confirmed that three patients had been discharged from the state isolation centres.

The State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, confirmed the development to our correspondent on Wednesday night.

He also confirmed the new cases on his official Facebook page.

According to him, “5 new Positive cases of Covid-19 reported in Delta State. 4 from Warri South and 1 from Oshimili North. Total confirmed cases is now 22.”
