The National Executive Committee, NEC, of a foremost socio political pressure group in Delta state, Hope Alive, held their first meeting of the year today.
The meeting which was held in Olomoro, Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta state, is doubled as the first NEC meeting of the group since the inauguration of her ward executives in 2022.
Rrecall that Hope Alive, in late 2021 inaugurated her ward executives, to coordinates its activities across the several wards in Delta state
Addressing the NEC meeting, the Director-General of Hope Alive, High Chief Lawrence Eduje, urged the various wards coordinators drawn from different communities and kingdoms across the state to be proactive in carrying out their duties as coordinators.
Chief Eduje who reiterated a standing decision of the National Working Committee, NWC, of Hope Alive to drop coordinators who are not functional, enjoined all coordinators to hold meetings at least twice every three months.
Speaking further, Chief Eduje urged both NWC members, and coordinators present at the NEC meeting to remain committed to the ideology of the group as they wait for further directives from the principal of Hope Alive, Bashorun Askia Ogieh.
He also warned members against betraying the good intentions of the group, calling on suspected mole to quietly exit the group
Present at the NEC meeting are the Honourable Member Representing Isoko South Constituency II at the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Ovuakpoye Evivie, The Vice Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area, Hon. Frank Ozue, the Vice Chairperson, Isoko South Local Government Area, Hon. Blessing Uzoge, and many other dignitaries.
