The Delta State University, Abraka, has postponed the resumption date for its 2019/2020 Academic Session earlier slated for September 22, 2019.
In a brief statement issued by the school authority on Friday said the new resumption date is Sunday September 29, 2019.
The statement further added that academic activities for the new session will begin Monday September 30, 2019.

The shift in the resumption date was also confirmed to WARRI TODAY by the DELSU Head of Public Affairs, Mr Freeborn Aganbi.
“This is to inform staff, students, the University community and the general public that the resumption date for the 2019/2010 academic session has been rescheduled.

“The new date is Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019 for students to return to Campus while academic activities would commence on Monday, Sept. 30, 2019.
“Staff and students are requested to take note of the new date as lectures would commence immediately”, the statement explained.
