Senator Representing Delta Central Senatoral District, Senator Ede Dafinone, has congratulated Prof. Ezekiel Agbalagba, on his recent appointment as the Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, FUPRE, Delta State.
Recall that Prof. Agbalagba, a Professor of Environment and Radiation Physics and a former Dean of the Faculty of Science in FUPRE, was unveiled as the institution’s fourth substantive Vice-Chancellor last Friday by the Governing Council of the University.
The Delta Central lawmaker in a signed statement while congratulating Prof. Agbalagba, said: “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Ezekiel Agbalagba on his well-deserved appointment as the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE). His emergence as the institution’s fourth substantive Vice-Chancellor is a testament to his dedication, academic excellence, and outstanding contributions to the field of Environmental and Radiation Physics.
“FUPRE holds a strategic position as Nigeria’s premier petroleum university, playing a crucial role in developing the nation’s energy sector through research, innovation, and capacity building.
