Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State on Tuesday extended the COVID-19 lockdown in the state with another 14 days in renewed efforts to curtail the spread of the ravaging coronavirus across the state.
The governor in a state-wide broadcast also enacted a dusk-to-dawn curfew in the state beginning from Wednesday.
Okowa said the extension of the lockdown was to enable the state track, identify, isolate and test all who had contact with the confirmed cases.
