COVID-19: 265 New Cases Recorded Across Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 265 new cases of the coronavirus in the country.

Nigeria now has a total of 7526 confirmed cases in 34 states and the FCT.

NCDC disclosed this via its Twitter handle on Saturday night saying no death was recorded.

The cases were recorded in 12 states and the FCT Abuja.

The figures revealed that Lagos State recorded 133 of the 265 new cases while Oyo and Edo States recorded 34 and 28 cases each respectively.

It disclosed that a total of 167 patients were discharged on Saturday after they tested negative to the virus.

“265 new cases of #COVID19; 133-Lagos 34-Oyo 28-Edo 23-Ogun 22-FCT 6-Plateau 5-Kaduna 3-Borno 3-Niger 2-Kwara 2-Bauchi 2-Anambra 2-Enugu.

“7526 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 2174 Deaths: 221” it tweet added.
