Christ Ignite International Ministries, Houston Texas, USA, through it’s global outreach, Pkglobal Ministries, has empowered hundreds of widows, single mothers and other less privileged in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The empowerment programme which took place at God’s Will Deliverance Ministry International Incorporated, during it’s three days Indoor Revival Programme tagged, “My God is Able” saw widows and everyone that that attended the programme going home with a smile on their faces as cash, clothes and food items were distributed to them.
Prophet Kenneth Okojie, Head Pastor, Christ Ignite International Ministries, Houston Texas, USA, who was also the guest speaker at the 3 day programme, told journalists that giving was part of the mission of his church.
“So I understand that we don’t only have the ministry to only pray and preach to people, but we also have the ministry of giving to people. This is the third time we are doing this in this ministry. We are pretty much concerned about Africa because I am an African. We also concerned about Nigeria because I am from Nigeria.
“Mission to Africa, started many years ago with my call. I was sitting down when God spoke to me. I saw a big cassava farmland and the people were harvesting them into trucks and were distributing to people, Okojie said.
Speaking on the theme of the 3 day programme “My God is Able”, Okojie said life generally has been hard for a lot of people in the country, stressing that it was only God that promises a bright and better future for mankind.
“The only one that promises is a future that is bright and better is only God. That is why we call him the Alfa and the Omega, which means the beginning and the end. He starts the beginning and goes to the end. This means he knows the outcome of the end. God knows all things and I know he had already prepared a future for us.
“So all we need to do is to work with God. Without God there is no destination because he is the architect of our life. If you follow God you will get instructions and if you follow instructions you will get to your destination. It is only God that has the roadmap that will take us to our destination,” Okojie added.
He said through the Pkglobal Ministries they have been able to do a lot of things in the life of people in Africa. He noted that they have brought deliverance and healings to many people as God enabled them to work in the land.
“We thank God for what he has been using Pkglobal Ministries to do. So we decided to come to Ughelli because we have known the Bishop of this house, he has always been a great support to us. He is a man of great substance. So when God laid it upon is to go on this mission we decided to come to Ughelli,” Okojie said.
Okojie therefore called on well meaning Nigerians to support the global outreach so that the mission will continue to be a blessing to other people.
On his part, Rev Dr Godwin Okon, Founder and General Overseer of God’s Will Deliverance Ministry International Incorporated, Ughelli, said he was very excited to host Prophet Kenneth Okojie in the church saying that many people have not only received the blessings of God, but have also been empowered.
According to Okon, the programme is all about showing love to the public and showing commitment to Christianity.
He said the essence of the programme is to encourage other members of the society to come back to serving God, noting that Jesus Christ did the same thing while he was on earth.
He urged other men of God to always care for their members and members of the public because, according to him, this will cushion the effect of the economy on them.
“This programme is am occasional programme, especially when we have visitors like Prophet Kenneth who actually came from Houston Texas, America.
“He is a personal friend who comes here with the willingness to distribute things to members and visitors.
“I am so happy that this is actually taking place in our church. You can see the happiness in the faces of all the people that are here today.
“Just like the Bible says, Jesus Christ was always doing good everywhere he goes. When people receive good gift like this, they will remember to go back to serve God. In this ministry we remember to help people,”
Prophet Kenneth Okojie, led by Rev Dr Godwin Okon and some members of God’s Will Deliverance Ministry later paid a courtesy visit to the monarch of Ughelli Kingdom, His Majesty, Evangelist Dr Wilson Ajakovo Oharisi 111 (JP).
The monarch of Ughelli Kingdom, thanked them for the visit saying that he was very proud of what PK Global Ministries was doing in the life of the people of Ughelli Kingdom, praying that God should continue to give them the strength to carry on the good work they are doing.
