Buhari Appoints Five New Permanent Secretaries

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday approved the appointment of five new permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.

The appointment, according to a statement by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, followed the selection process conducted recently.

The new permanent secretaries are drawn from Ekiti, Lagos, Katsina, Enugu and Nasarawa States.

The appointment was contained in a statement on Friday signed by the Mallam AbdulGaniyu Aminu, Director, Press and Public Relations, Office of Head of Service of the Federation.

It listed that appointees to include; Adebiyi Olusesan Olufunso, Ekiti; Onwudiwe Maryann Ngozi, Enugu; Yusuf Ibrahim Idris, Katsina; Ogunbiyi Marcus Olaniyi, Lagos; and Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, Nasarawa.

The statement added that the date of the swearing-in and deployment of the new permanent secretaries would be announced in a later date.
