We’ve Identified National Assembly Member Financing Insecurity – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said the Federal Government has identified a serving National Assembly member involved in financing and sponsoring insecurity in the country.

Buhari, who stated this in his nationwide broadcast to mark Nigeria’s 61 Independence Day anniversary, did not give the name of the lawmaker.

Mr. President did not state whether the accused lawmaker is a senator or a member of the House of Representatives.

Buhari, who also spoke on the arrest of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu and Yoruba Nation activist, Chief Sunday Igboho, said his administration is taking every necessary step in addressing the nation’s insecurity.
