The Urhobo Progress Union (PDP) has endorsed Olorogun David Edevbie as Urhobo’s consensus candidate and preferred choice for the 2023 governorship election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.
UPU, apex socio-cultural umbrella body for the Urhobo people worldwide, also called on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to allow Urhobo Nation choose the candidate to succeed him.
Olorogun Edevbie’s endorsement was contained in a statement on Sunday signed by UPU’s President General, Olorogun Moses Taiga; 1st Deputy President General, Chief Anthony Onoharigho and three others.
