Tinubu Appoints Wike, Umahi, Keyamo As Ministers Of FCT, Works, Aviation


President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday assigned portfolios to ministerial nominees that have been cleared by the National Assembly into the Federal Executive Council.

Tinubu appointed the immediate past Governor of Rivers State as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) while his then colleague and former governor of Ebonyi State was appointed Minister of Works.

Mr. President also appointed a former Minister of State for Labour and spokesperson of his campaign council, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN, as Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development.

Also appointed is renowned economist, Mr. Wale Edun, as Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.

The ministers and their designations are as follows Minister Of Communications, Innovation And Digital Economy: Bosun Tijani; Minister Of State, Environment And Ecological Management: Ishak Salako; Minister Of Finance And Coordinating Minister Of The Economy: Wale Edun; Minister Of Marine And Blue Economy: Bunmi Tunji-Ojo; Minister Of Power: Adebayo Adelabu; Minister Of State, Health And Social Welfare: Tunji Alausa; Minister Of Solid Minerals Development: Dele Alake; Minister Of Tourism: Lola Ade-John; Minister Of Transportation: Adegboyega Oyetola.
