President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday forwarded 19 additional ministerial nominees to the Nigerian Senate for confirmation as ministers.

The names of the ministerial nominees were read on the floor of the red chamber by President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, after the Senate had concluded the screening of the first batch containing 28 nominees.

Among those on the list include a former minister of agriculture from Bayelsa State, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri; immediate past governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong and others.

With Wednesday’s ministerial list, President Tinubu has now forwarded 47 names to the National Assembly for screening and confirmation.
