Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has assigned portfolios to the newly swore-in commissioners in the state.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu, on Tuesday night.
According to the statement, Orode Uduaghan, daughter of the former Delta State governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, was appointed commissioner for Girl Child Entrepreneurship and Humanitarian Support; immediate past commissioner for information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, was appointed as commissioner for Works and Olorogun Vincent Oyibode was appointed as commissioner for Oil and Gas.
