Thirty-five new cases of the COVID-19 has been recorded in the country, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said.
With the new cases, Nigeria now has a total of 442 confirmed cases.
NCDC in a tweet on its verified Twitter handle on Thursday night said the new cases were reported in Lagos, FCT, Kano and Oyo States respectively.
It revealed that 152 patients had so far been discharged having tested negative to the virus while 13 cases have died.
According to it, “Thirty-five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows: 19 in Lagos, 9 in FCT, 5 in Kano and 2 in Oyo.
“As at 10:20 pm 16th April there are 442 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 152 have been discharged with 13 deaths.”
