NCDC Confirms 23 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Delta

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 23 new cases of COVID-19 pandemic in Delta State.

NCDC had omitted 17 cases of the virus confirmed by the state government on Friday.

The Delta now has 80 cases of the disease as of Saturday, the figures released by the disease control body revealed on Saturday night.

It is the first time that the state will be recording such high number in a day since the outbreak of the pandemic in the state.

The state currently sit on number 17 on the chart list of states with infected cases of the disease.

Delta has so far recorded seven deaths and 16 discharged while 57 patients are currently undergoing treatment at various isolation centres in the state.
