Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation, has rejoined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
His defection to APC is coming months after Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, disclosed that the former minister had joined APC.
Fani-Kayode was presented to President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja, by the Chairman of APC National Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, on Thursday.
The former minister in his remark, said he was instrumental to defection of Governors David Umahi of Ebonyi, Prof Ben Ayade of Cross River and Bello Matawalle of Zamfara.
Fani-Kayode, a former spokesman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, is a founding member of the APC.
He said his return to APC was for the unity of the country.
The governor of Zamfara, Bello Matawalle, was in attendance at the ceremony.
