The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Friday disclosed that the country has recorded 386 new cases of the coronavirus.
It said the number of confirmed cases in Nigeria have now risen to 3912.
NCDC in a tweet on its verified twitter handle late Friday night said the cases were recorded in 19 states and the FCT Abuja.
It said Lagos which is the country’s epicenter to the pandemic recorded 176 new cases while Kano State which is the second in the chart log had 65 new cases.
According to the tweet, the death toll has also hit 117 from the 107 recorded as of Thursday.
The tweet read, “386 new cases of #COVID19; 176-Lagos 65-Kano 31-Katsina 20-FCT 17-Borno 15-Bauchi 14-Nasarawa 13-Ogun 10-Plateau 4-Oyo 4-Sokoto 4-Rivers 3-Kaduna 2-Edo 2-Ebonyi 2-Ondo 1-Enugu 1-Imo 1-Gombe 1-Osun.
