Edo PDP Leader, Owere Dickson Imasogie, Kidnapped

A leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Edo South senatorial district, Owere Dickson Imasogie, has been reportedly kidnapped by gunmen.

His driver and one other person who was with him in the vehicle were also abducted by the gunmen.

Popularly known as Owere Imasogie, the victim is a foundation member and die-hard PDP loyalist in the state.

He is a renowned farmer who owns several farms in the Edo south.

He was reportedly kidnapped in the early hours of Monday, while on his was to his Uvbe farm, along Agbor Road.

The PDP leader is generally liked for his act of generosity to his party members and the general public.

As at the time of filing this report, details were still scetchy about the incident.

Also, when contacted, the State Police Command’s image maker, SP Kontongs Bello said he was yet to briefed.
