Delta NNPP Campaign Director Resigns, Dumps Party

The Director of Media and Publicity of the Delta State New Nigeria People Party (NNPP) Campaign Council, Sir Divramredje Lawrence Efeturi, has resigned his position.

Efeturi also announced his resignation from the party, saying that he has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement on Tuesday, Efeturi stated that reasons for his resignation from the NNPP and defection to the APC were personal.

“This is to formally notify the general public that I have, today, resigned my position as stated above and returned to my original party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“In this view, I wholly distance myself from the gubernatorial candidate of the NNPP, Dr Goodnews Agbi, and all his activities, itself, forthwith.

“This decision is personal and I plead that it be respected, please. I hold no ill will towards none. I’m guided by good wisdom to chart this course and not to talk much.

“I trust that God who is always there for me will help me as I explore my full faith in positive politics that is ideologically progressive and pro-people which our great party, APC offers”, he stated.
