The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has confirmed Wednesday’s system collapse on the nation’s power grid.

It, however, stated that there were efforts already ongoing to restore the collapsed grid.

There was anxiety among electricity consumers over the development as many consumers were already lamenting the already epileptic power supply in different parts of the country.

But TCN in a statement by its General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, said the management commenced recovery immediately it observed the collapse.
