A security guard, Mr. Mark Jidel has been stabbed to death by unknown gunmen at Noel Ojei Holdings Limited along Asaba/Benin expressway, Asaba, the Delta state capital.

It was learnt that the security guard was killed at his duty post on January 5, 2020 by the hoodlums who invaded the Company, apparently to vandalised it property and other valuables.

A source said the deceased was stabbed on his shoulder, while the suspects inserted an iron into his body, and then covered the blood splashes with ashes.

However, one Mr. John Ifeokwu, reportedly discovered the dead body the following morning and alerted the police, the source revealed.

It was gathered that the Taraba born security guard who domiciled in Asaba,  had complained, several times, about the frequent attack and vandalization of the company’s property to the management even to his church pastor, but no action was taken to checkmate the suspected armed Bandits.
