The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has finally sacked Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and the National Working Committee of the party at the ongoing National Executive Committee meeting of the party.
NEC has subsequently appointed Yobe State governor, Mai Mala Buni to head caretaker committee of the party with immediate effect.
The NEC convened by the Chief Victor Giadom, acting National Chairman of the party, to address the crisis rocking the leadership of the party.
Mala Buni has been inaugurated to head the APC caretaker committee and chairman extraordinary convention.
The dissolution of the NWC was reached at the ongoing NEC meeting holding at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock which is being attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, governors and leadership of the National Assembly.
Buhari’s new media aide, Bashir Ahmad, disclosed this on his Twitter handle.
He wrote, “Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has been dissolved.”
Ahmad had also tweeted, “Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved.”
