Ali Baba: XQZMOI TV Takes Off Soon, Platform Will Promote Creative Industry

Popular Nigerian entertainer and king of comedy, Atunyota Akpobome aka Ali Baba, has disclosed that his much-anticipated television station, XQZMOI TV, will begin operation in few days to come.

Ali Baba, who was recently granted license to operate the station by the Federal Government, boasted that the platform will specifically promote the creative industry and attract investment to it.

He stated this in a post on his verified Instagram handle where he promised that the station will give voice to all professionals in the creative industry in the country.

The legendary comedian asked the public to hold him accountable for the promise.

He added that the station will “give wings to ideas and institutionalize values in the creative sector” through professional broadcasting.

“The creative industry… will have a dedicated platform in a few days”, Ali Baba said in the post accompanied by a 46 seconds video jiggle showcasing the station’s areas of focus.

The Niger Delta-born entertainer maintained that XQZMOI TV will be “a platform where everyone who is a professional in the sector has a voice and a place where their creativity can be celebrated, promoted, appreciated, curated, exhibited and developed.”

“XQZMOI TV, will not only be a platform to showcase the industry but help to attract investors to the industry by showing the potentials of the whole spectrum of our creative dynamics.

“This is my promise. Hold me to it”, he further assured.

The comedy genius is renowned and applauded for the discovery of several talents especially in the comedy sub-sector of the creative industry.

He specifically credited to have discovered A-list comedians such AY, Basket Mouth, D Don comedian and many more.

Aside comedy, the Urhobo-born humour merchant has also featured in several mind-blowing Nollywood movies.
