Akpos, Ex-Delta IPMAN Chairman, Congratulates Oborevwori On Supreme Court Victory

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Chief Akpovire Samson Edafevwotu, has felicitated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the Supreme Court.

Chief Edafevwotu, who is a former chairman of the Delta branch of the Independent Petroleum Marketing Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), said the apex court’s judgement which affirmed Governor Oborevwori’s election has restore confidence to the nation judiciary.

In a statement on Saturday, the oil business player noted that the judgement was attestation of the general wish of the people of the state.

Edafevwotu, fondly called Akpos, called on the people of the state to continue to support the governor, adding that he would visible infrastructural and human development to the state.

“Your Excellency, your victory at the apex court is a testament of the rule of law and an Indication that Deltans overwhelmingly voted for you as their governor.

“As you pilot the affairs of Delta state, we wish to let you know that we will continue to support your MORE agenda in taking the state to the Promised Land.

“Once again we say congratulations your Excellency and wishing you the best and God’s guidance in discharging your duty as the undisputable Sheriff in town”, the statement added.
