Armed men suspected to be herdsmen have reportedly abducted a Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Jude Onyebadi, in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
This is the second time the priest was being kidnapped by gunmen.
It was gathered that the cleric was abducted at his farm on the Isele-Uku/Issele-Mkpetime Road on Saturday alongside three of his workers.
Fr. Onyebadi was kidnapped on the same farm in 2018 but was later released few days after the abduction.
His abduction in 2018 led to protest by Catholic priests in the Isele-Uku Catholic Diocese.

He is the parish priest of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Issele-Azagba, a neighbouring community to Asaba, the state capital.
However, three of the workers were reported to have been released at about 11pm On Saturday.
The hoodlums were yet to contact the church and members of his parish since the abduction.
Multiples sources in the area including members of the parish confirmed the abduction of the priest on Sunday.
When contacted, Delta Police Spokesperson, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the abduction of the catholic cleric.
She said the command had already deplored rescue team to free the kidnapped priest unhurt.
