For the second time, the family of veteran broadcaster and former staff of the Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS), Warri, Delta State, Mr. Mudiaga Asagba, has shifted the burial date for the late broadcaster.

The burial is now slated for Friday January 10th, 2020.

The burial was first fixed for Friday December 27, 2019 until it was postponed to January 17, 2020 owing to traditional reasons in Okpe Kingdom of Delta State where the deceased hailed from.

Asagba, also popularly known as “the man next door”, died Monday December 9, 2019 at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja.

The late broadcaster, who was a legislative aide on media to the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, died at the age of 52.

It was learnt that the service of songs earlier slated to be held in his honour has been cancelled by the family.
