The Uvwie formative chapter of the Ambrose Alli University Alumni has felicitated Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori over the judgement of the Supreme Court affirming his election victory.
The chapter described the judgement as a complete reflection of the general wish of Deltans who overwhelmingly voted for Oborevwori as the state governor.
In a statement signed by the Chapter’s Chairman, Engr. Moses Ayiwe and Secretary, Pius Kwode Esq (FIHANR), noted that the apex court decision will strengthen Governor Oborevwori’s administration to deliver his MORE Agenda.
The Chapter expressed confidence that the “governor will deliver the best dividend of democracy to the people of Delta State via his M.O.R.E Agenda based on his commitment to grassroot development, experience and leadership qualities.”
The statement, while congratulating the governor, charged him to remain steadfast and committed to the development of the state.
He assured the people of the state to support the governor irrespective of their political and religious lineage to drive the MORE Agenda.
“We join all Deltans and well-wishers to pray that Almighty God guide, protect and bless your victory as you pilot the affairs of Delta State to its greatest height”, the statement added.
