Coronavirus: Delta Sets Up 11 Holding Centres, Hotlines For Suspected Cases

The Delta State government has set up 11 holding centres for suspected cases of the dreaded Coronavirus Disease across the state.

It also released four hotlines for those experiencing any symptom related to the virus.

The hotlines are COVID-19 HOTLINES: 08033521961, 08035078541, 08030758179, 08031230021.

According to a statement on Thursday, the government said the creation of the centres was parts of measures by the state government to quickly tackle the spread of the virus in the state.

It added that the centers were set up in accordance with NCDC guidelines.

The holding facilities are General Hospital, Okwe; General Hospital, Ogwashi Uku; Central Hospital, Ughelli; Central Hospital, Warri; General Hospital, Bomadi; Central Hospital, Sapele; Central Hospital, Kwale, and  General Hospital, Ekpan.

Others are Central Hospital, Oleh; General Hospital, Agbor; Eku Baptist Hospital; and Asaba Specialist Hospital.

“Citizens and residents of Delta State should note that as a precautionary measure to mitigate against the potential spread of the Corona Virus, the Delta State government has set up 11 holding facilities across the state”, the statement said.
