Burial activities for late ace broadcaster, late Mudiaga Asagba, begin today (Wednesday).

A novelty football match being organized by a committee of friends and former colleagues of the deceased will hold at the Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS) Edjeba, Warri, Delta State.

The football game will be played between friends of the deceased and Delta Rainbow Stars of DBS Warri, a team the late Asagba once captained as a player.

The novelty match will begins at 3pm on Wednesday at the DBS Warri Football pitch.

While a tribute/concert day will also be held in his honour also at the same premises immediately after the football match.

Asagba, a veteran broadcaster, was a former staff of the Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS), Warri.

He will be buried Friday January 10th, 2020 at 10am.

The deceased also fondly known as “the man next door”, died Monday December 9, 2019 at the Federal Medical Centre, Abuja.

The remains of the late broadcaster whom later became legislative media aide to the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, will be interred at his family compound at Amukpe in Sapele Delta State.
