A former minister of petroleum and elder statesman, Prof Tam David-West, is dead.
He died at 83 on Monday.
David-West served as Petroleum Minister under the military administrstion of President Muhammadu Buhari.
A family source confirmed the passage of the accomplished professor of Virology.
The source, however, could not immediately disclose where the late Octogenarian passed on.
